Will Bee Royal Jelly and Bee Propolis expired? What is the side effect? Or it will become poison?
When I go Australia, we bought a lot local Royal Jelly and Bee Propolis, brand new never opened. We bought them in 2005. Most drug expired with in 2 years. But now is 4 years already.
Some said Bee propolis don’t expire, just wonder if any one know for sure?
I accidentally eat some already, wonder if it will be poison after expired??
In case you want to know, I don’t have any allergy to Bee product.
Sorry post here, yahoo don’t have vitamin catalog for my question, so I hope here one or two household member may have answer for me.
Thanks

Would have to look it up, but from my understanding natural bee products do not expire, at least not within normal food terms of expiring. If it’s natural, you shouldn’t have any problems consuming it many years later, however I am no expert on it. Just something I remember hearing about like 20 years ago or something.
Yeah, I’m going to look that up myself…
….
Well, I’ve looked around and I haven’t found anything that says this stuff expires… ever. Bees are the #1 food storage experts with humans a distant #2 or #3, so I would say you’re safe.
….
Ok, a little closer inspection reveals that the Propolis lasts around 2 years, so you may want to get checked out. It’s probably nothing bad, but to be safe get checked.
CALL POISON CONTROL.
