In this video i show you the honeybee hive i have at my house. I heard that they were going extinct so i had to try to help. Remember honey bees polinate almost all crops and foods so once their dead we would soon follow! They are amazing insects and very intelligent for something so small. Its like being a god having control over your honey bees lol jk. they are amazingly simple to take care of, the beggining can be costly but if you find the right suppliers its quite cheap, and in the end you get awesome gardens, foods , and of course honey! its a win win situation with these incredible insects!

Unfortunitely, I live in New York City. I don’t have much of a back yard to do this.
THATS AWESOME! try doing it some time, its really easy! make sure u dont have anyone allergic as friends and family, and make sure to have alittle land and thats really it. do a local bee class and you are all set! thanks for cheking it out! the honey bees are very friendly they will land on you and bathe in the sun and even sometimes look at ur face for recongnition seriously!!

Dude, mad props on your vid. You are doing wicked good for an amateur beekeeper in his first year. Just so you know, bees can get all the food they need from clover and alfalfa blooms.
And the people commenting about the mites, gm, pesticides, and trailored bees being taken all over the country are right. But one thing that hardly anybody knows is that major contractors are the only ones loosing their bee populations. So fuck em.
Proper care take work, it’s not just drip in bees -> get honey.
You’re using IPM and watching the mites, moths etc.
Be a good manager and don’t add to CCD problems.

genetically modified foods are in full effect. these food does not provide any nutrients or vitamins. they grew these in the western territories where the winds would blow their pollens eastward across the lands, thus cross-breeding and pollinating other farmer’s crops.
once this happen, your normal farmers are accused of stealing their seeds and sued, which put them out of business.
also, they are selling these seeds world wide.

i wish i could do this but i am deathly alergic to bee sting
i’m afraid my neighbours wouldn’t be to pleased with me having a hive in my garden
(it’s not so big)
and unfortunatly i havn’t the time to ship them around.
but the thought did cross my mind when a beekeeper i know couldn’t take care of his hives because of his age.
iv’e been looking around this week,
havn’t seen a single bee
yea flowers, fruit trees(so you can get a return!), or go right to the source and buy a hive. its really not that hard to start a hive, basically once the hive boxes are set up u put the queen cage in between 2 frames with sugar stopper, then dump the whole bees that came in a bee package. then close the hive up and let them go to work. really that easy, easier when wearing the proper head protection and gloves. i have bee stung and thats been my own fault. in fall u can harvest the honey!!
