How to use Bee Pollen and Flaxseed in your diet

*** IF YOU TRY THE BEE POLLEN: you could experience an allergic reaction, especially if you’re allergic to bees or anything else. Start with a little (I started with 1/2 teaspoon, but if you know you’re allergic start with 1 granule, see how you do, and then work up to 1 tsp. If you need more information about Bee Pollen, please do some reasearch on your own…I’m not a Bee Pollen guru so please don’t rely on just my opinion. :) I lost 1.8 lbs. this past week. That brings my total to 23.6 pounds lost! :) I had injured my heel and couldn’t walk or do my step so instead I rode my bike to work and back all week. I couldn’t let myself down now could I, and make an excuse for the bum heel. ;) Have a great week everyone!!! my personal channel: youtube.com/deniseolmstead

Please note: if you have an allergy to bee’s or think you may be allergice to bee pollen, use caution. In fact, check with a doctor first, I would. The word on this is to take a small amount to test for allergies first, but in my opinion, I wouldn’t risk it, especially if you’re already allergic to bees. Obviously with anything you view on YouTube or read anywhere, it’s just information being passed along, you have to determine what’s good for you or not. :)

  3. I will try it and I’ll let you know how it works for me.

Thanks! my heel is starting to get better so I attempted my step tonight but I’m still riding my bike too…I like it so may as well keep doing it. :) I read about bee pollen in my Clean Eating book and was amazed at all the healthful properties, which made me want to add it to my diet. I really like it! Let me know what you think if you start using it too! :)

  5. Woah, it’s shocking every time I see your face, it’s really thinning out. What’s the main reason you started using bee pollen and how did you hear about it? Sounds like something I wanna try. I often use flaxseed meal with my protein shakes and I’ve been taking a flaxseed oil supplement so I guess I’m on the right track there.

Thumbs up on riding your bike in spite of your bum heel!

  6. Excellent video! And quite ispirational. I am going to go hunt down my flaxseed that is buried in a drawer in my refridgerator and begin using it again. I need to research bee pollen because of my allergies. Your skin is looking beautiful!

Hi Marjie! yes, you gotta watch the calories. 2 Tbs of Flaxseeds has 70 cal, 5g fat, 4g fiber and contains 3080mg Omega-3, 770mg Omega-6 and 980mg Omega-9. 1 tsp. of Bee Pollen has 16 cal, 0 fat, 0 fiber. I love it that you already use Flaxseeds in your diet ~ I hadn’t thought of putting it in OJ….bee pollen would simply disolve in OJ too…I should try that! Thanks Marjie!! :)

  9. Thanks for your research………

  10. Yea, for flaxseed. I have two tablespoons everyday. I grind mine and put it in half cup OJ. It should be balanced with the other omega’s. I am sure it is one of the reasons I am so lean for my weight.
Maybe I should up it to 4 tablespoons but the darn stuff is loaded with calories too.
Vit. D is wonderful for skin. Everybody should be taking it.
I am big on anti oxidants too, making sure I get plenty of them.
Great tip video, I will be checking out the bee pollen.
