I still use the term with people that don't know about the terms, but I consciously try not to refer to myself as vegan because I consume honey and play musical instruments (I hope you don't listen to music). I'm just trying to be healthy. Read some Derrick Jensen, he has an interesting perspective on vegetarianism.
