I actually take fresh bee pollen not propolis. Propolis is used for treating many bacterial, viral, and fungal diseases. Good results have been reported for use against inflammation of mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, dry cough and it is also good to boost the immune system. Buy any bee product in tightly sealed containers from a good health food store (not a place like GNC as they are mostly devoted to body building supplements and more likely than not, do not carry this. Good luck! P.S. I LOVE bee pollen…really increases energy; I also take whole food vitamins (the body recognizes these as food and can be taken with meals or on an empty stomach.)

Pollen is the yellow stuff you see in flowers, propolis is something the bees actually make using chemical reactions in their bodies.
Pollen is collected, and propolis is MADE by them.
