Can I have a honey bee hive and the bees removed from underneath my storage shed for less than $300?
I live in Orange County, California and I would like to have the bees removed but not killed. I also need to have the honey comb removed so that they do not come back. Is there a city service (Anaheim) or animal control service that could help me? The lowest quote I’ve been able to obtain, without killing the bees (which costs more) is $300.

Check around. A bee keeper might come and get them for free. Honey bees are becoming scarce.

There seems to be a big shortage of honeybees. Try contacting a beekeeper, they might pay you to have them removed.

You might try finding someone in your area who uses bees. Maybe an orchard near by. There was a disease that killed off many bees and the farmers who had them might come and get them for free. If they are the right kind of bees anyway. No harm on asking.
