Bladder infection question again?

(Last question was about: suspected infection, went to the doctors – said there was no infection, took urine sample, not back till wednesday.)

Ok, the pain and burning has went away and I’ve been drinking loads of water! But I still need to pee ALL THE TIME! I have my period right now, so I dont know if that coould be anything to do with it’s change in pain or something. I’ve been taking Bee Propolis (sp?) which is a natural anti-biotic im sure, but i dont know if it will help the infection go away. I’m worried it could turn into something worse if they doctors don’t find anything by wednesday! Help please??

x
The doctor says there is no infection present when she did the dip stick thing, so i dont know if theres any point in going through with home remedies if i dont actually ave an infection. i’m so confused.

  1. from a fellow sufferer of bladder infections… i recommend going to the health food store and buying cranberry concentrate. and drinking this as the bottle says you should. you can also take cranberry pills on a daily basis. this helps too!

if you don’t have a health food store close, then go to the grocery … just make sure you get PURE cranberry juice. infection can feed on sugars… so you want the ingredient list on the back of the bottle to say “cranberry juice or cranberry juice concentrate and asorbic acid” … don’t go for the artificial flavors or sugars, etc. this will not work as well. but you should do this today and get a jump-start on taking care of this infection!

    hope this helps you!

  2. If it is a UTI, even undetectable, the OTC stuff AZO or generic pyridium (or something like that) will help with the symptoms. It won’t help the UTI go away, but it will turn your pee bright orange and take away the symptoms.
