we’re the same way with our bees. we have two hives, and we actually refer to them as our house pets, haha. people think that bees are just senseless dumb bugs, but they’re really not. i think that their curious nature is adorable and ive grown a real affection for them.
I’m a beekeeper and I feel like the bees in my hives are my family. It so depressing to go out to a hive and see a bunch of frozen dead bees that didn’t survive the winter…
Also, I get stung all the time, after a while I just started to ignore it, now I barely notice if a bee stings me.
People should love bees and learn more about them before condemning them as a pest. They’re awesome!

I’m glad you mentioned the unchecked death of bees. It’s alarming how people can care so much about problems that really won’t affect much, yet can remain completely oblivious to extraordinary and life threatening events that are happening right under their noses.
