WOW, you cant imagine the synchronicity of this video for me.
I just received bee pollen powder, organic and kosher, so i was going to refresh my knowledge of its benefits. I have never had it ground into powder, it is so delicious i sprinkle it on my raw granola every morning.
Thanks Zak!!

I have a couple questions.
What is the glycemic index of bee pollen, is it the same as honey?
Do the benefits of bee pollen diminish if I use it in hot tea to sweeten or flavor it?

I have never found the G.Index rating of bee pollen but it would definitely be on the low side, lower than honey for sure, since it's not overtly sweet. You use it in such small quantities anyways that it shouldn't be too big of a problem if it WERE moderately high.

If you use it in tea, make sure the tea has cooled enough to the point that you can comfortably hold your finger in it without burning. Bee products are so enzyme rich that they can become damaged around 95 degrees F.

Oh no, I just added some to a recipe that I am now dehydrating. Crud, I sure hope it endures with all it's benefits. Cuz it sure still tastes great!

It should be fine, they often dehydrate bee pollen anyways! You can always dehydrate it at around 100 degrees instead of 110+. It'll take a wee bit longer but it'll still dehydrate.

Hahaha... that's a therapeutic dosage ;) I'm averaging about 4 right now per day :p

Royal Jelly is great, similar to be pollen but more concentrated. Great for beauty. I don't take it as often so my personal experience with it is limited, although I'd like to use it more!
